Fortune India 500 is listing of top Indian companies under the format of widely known Fortune 500 list. It is compiled and published by Fortune India Magazine since it was 1st published in India in September 2010. Forbes Global 2000 is a annual listing of publicly listed companies around the world. The list is published by Forbes magazine and in 2017, the list is based on four metrics: sales, profit, assets and market value. It is considered a matter of pride and prestige for public companies to be listed in it. USA and China has the maximum share of companies in the list : around 40%. India has 58 companies in the list. Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL), ranked 106, tops the list of Indian companies in the list.

India’s Super 50 Companies 2016 is a list of top performing listed Indian companies ranked by Forbes India. Forbes, along-with PwC, adopted a three pronged strategy to rank these companies across last three years. There were Shareholder Return, Sales Growth and Return on Equity. Few common strategies adopted by these companies include low Debt-to-Equity ratio, High R&D spends and Acquisitions to fuel their growth.
